Help out by mapping and assessing the accessibility of COVID-19 testing sites for persons with disabilities. This will help countries to design and implement a disability-inclusive response and recovery plan for COVID-19.

Sozialhelden e.V. is collaborating with the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA) to help countries design and implement a disability-inclusive response and recovery plan for COVID-19. The information compiled on this site will be provided to UN DESA and used to create a website showing the accessibility of COVID-19 testing sites worldwide.

FAQ

A testing site is any place where you can get tested for COVID-19, whether it is a general practicioner, a specialized testing center or an improvised, temporary facility.

A) Anyone can add information, whether you work at a testing site, you yourself got tested there, or you have knowledge of that place for any other reason. This is the power of crowdsourcing, which is based on the effort of every single participating person.

B) We are also reaching out to other NGOs, governments and healthcare-related institutions and asking them to provide any relevant data which they may have. Their representatives can also add relevant data directly.

A) If you want to add a single testing site, please use the form provided. There you will be asked to add information about the location and its accessibility.

B) If you have a list of several testing sites, you can add these with our data template. Please make sure that the data matches our criteria. This helps us to merge all the different data sources into one database.

The United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA) is working on a project to help countries design and implement a disability-inclusive response and recovery plan for COVID-19. Given the need for quick action in addressing the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the outputs of this project will be released as quickly as possible. As part of this project, UN DESA will create and manage a website showing the accessibility of COVID-19 testing sites worldwide.
